I attended the Partnership Brokers Accreditation Scheme, organised by IBLF and the Overseas Development Institute, in 2005. In my opinion PBAS provides a wealth of wisdom to anyone working in cross sector partnerships: know-how in terms of content, an experiential learning process to help internalise the know-how and a community of seasoned practitioners to inform and support.
It is my experience that IBLF works long and hard to work out the most effective way of creating change and then shares that knowledge widely to achieve greatest impact. Their work in partnering for sustainable development, through The Partnering Initiative, is a shining example of this.
My work in promoting partnerships for sustainable development in many different global contexts has been enormously strengthened by IBLF skills training.
