Programme Manager, The Prince's Seeing is Believing, Business in the Community, Responsible Business
I joined Business in the Community just over six years ago and have had a variety of roles since then. Starting in the national Business Action on Homelessness team, I went on to set up and run The London Cares Day for two years. Going on to run Special Projects in The Prince's Programmes team, I then took over as the Programme Manager for The Prince's Seeing is Believing just over a year ago.
I love the diversity of the role and every day is different: I can often start the day in a homeless hostel or secondary school and finish it in a Chief Executive's boardroom or in a planning meeting at The Prince's Charities office at Clarence House. The position enables me to spend time with a great spectrum of personalities and some of the most committed, passionate and interesting individuals I could ever hope to meet.
Seeing the shift in perspective of some of the business delegates from the beginning of a visit to the end of it is always fantastic and a great deal of satisfaction is derived from playing a small part in leveraging support for some of the United Kingdom’s most worthwhile community organisations or schools.
