I knew almost nothing about heritage-led regeneration when I started at The Prince’s Regeneration Trust on a one year secondment through the Charity Next initiative. Since joining the team, I’ve been amazed to learn about the enormous benefits to local areas and people that come from bringing historic buildings back into use. In my role working on education and policy development I’ll be trying to make sure those involved in heritage projects are working in a supportive regulatory and financial environment, and have the right skills for the job!
