My role at Dumfries House has been to establish our office systems, manage the accounts and help Mike, our CEO to get this project up and running in time for summer opening. It is very exciting, and there is huge demand from the public to see this fantastic house and collection but a great deal needs to be done before we can open the doors – thankfully, people are being very patient!
There is massive support and goodwill on offer from the local community so I am certain we will achieve our aims and help to put this wonderful part of Scotland onto the visitor map for many years to come. We look forward to welcoming you here in the not too distant future!
