Edward Holland
Projects Advisor in Wales, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, The Built Environment
I am the Projects Advisor based in Wales. I am especially interested in the potential for historic buildings to be sensitively adapted to new uses. I came to The Prince's Regeneration Trust from a background as an architectural historian and curator, and enjoy the fact that this job takes me in a whole new direction within the heritage world.
I am based in rural Wales but the job has introduced me to all corners of the United Kingdom. I have had the excitement of 50 knot winds off the western isles of Scotland, an earthquake in Lincolnshire and the First Great Western rail service!
Away from The Trust I play in an orchestra in Cardiff, help run a local Building Preservation Trust, help a homeless community in South Wales, and enjoy sampling the many gastronomic delights of this part of the country.
