I’m Helen and I work in the Charities team at In Kind Direct. I deal with any queries our charity partners might have about our service, by phone, email and online messaging system.
The highlights of working at In Kind Direct for me are interacting with a range of people and hearing about the diversity of work our charity partners do. The charities we help work across society in many areas – from homelessness to emergency relief to sickness and everything in between. We work with the smallest to the biggest charities in the UK, and learning about the work they do and how we help them is inspiring.
We recently changed two things about how In Kind Direct works: firstly, we developed an online catalogue of our goods, and secondly, it is now free for charities to join our network. The online catalogue is more efficient and accessible, and coupled with the free registration more and more charities are using In Kind Direct. I can see In Kind Direct moving forward in leaps and bounds!
