I have had the privilege of working with The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) since 1999 in the Vietnam Business Links Initiative (VBLI). This is the partnership between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), IBLF and some 30 government and other local and international organisations.
With strong support and commitment from IBLF and other stakeholders, VCCI has productively managed VBLI and made it become a truly local sustained programme addressing health and safety and corporate social responsibility issues in the footwear and garment industries.
The IBLF team has also dedicated much effort to help in setting up the Office for Sustainable Development, of which VBLI is a core component. We highly appreciate the cooperation with IBLF and wish to continue this long-standing relationship to carry on the work that we have established for the sustainable development of the business community in Vietnam.
