Dumfries House - Half Day Guided Walks, Winter 2008-09

After 250 years of private ownership Dumfries House is now able to invite you to join their Environmental Officer (Bill Russell) in a Half Day Walk around this hidden Ayrshire treasure. Explore the designed landscape, its buildings and ruins. This walk is to be a fun and informative experience. Book now, places limited.

Time: all walks will start promptly at 10.00am and last approximately four hours. Walks will begin and end at the car park.

Venue: Dumfries House, please enter via the B7036 Barony Road, use car park located at the cattle sheds.

Cost: £5 per person payable on the morning of the walk. Please bring a packed lunch. Tea & coffee included.

Booking: places will be limited to a maximum of 15. Please book at least two days in advance by telephone: 01290 425959. Walkers who have not booked prior to the walk will not be able to join the group.
