The Charities
There are 20 Prince’s Charities which are active across a broad range of areas including: Opportunity & Enterprise, Responsible Business, Education, The Built Environment, Health and Social Enterprise. Find out more below…
Opportunity & Enterprise
As time goes on, and if someone continues to be rebuffed, they simply lose confidence and self belief, making it ever harder for them to get back into work.
Responsible Business
Working with business, to encourage the development and delivery of responsible business practice, which benefits not only the core enterprise, but the wider community too.
Education
We need to preserve and nurture the precious threads that up to now have always linked the generations. Surely it is right that nowhere must we do this more carefully than in our schools, where the past meets the future face to face on a daily basis.
The Built Environment
At a time when there is increasing pressure for new buildings and green field development, it is important to show how historic buildings can provide interesting places in which to live and work and be the catalyst for major regeneration schemes.
Health
There is now a desperately urgent need to redress the fragile, but vital balance between man and nature through a more integrated approach where the best of the ancient is blended with the best of the modern.
Initiatives
The Prince’s Charities Foundation exists to manage and allocate funds generated by the social enterprises within the group. It is also a place where new ideas and initiatives can have their first home before developing into independent charities. Below are some of the current initiatives.
